At the time of writing, northern spring 2009, the British Census records for 1841 to 1901 are available on line and indexed for searching. The URL [web address] to start searching these records is http://www.ancestry.co.uk. The records for 1911 have also been released but access at this stage is not available through that site.
The records do not seem to record all of the Inksons even though they were clearly alive and some of the indices are wrong. Some of the records have been transcibed to here. MBI holds the original images.
