The British Government took the 1901 Census on March 31 1901. The records were released in January 2002 under the '100 year' rule. These were the first census records to be fully computerised, albeit retrospectively, but an overwhelming demand delayed internet access until the last quarter of that year. The URL [web address] for the records is http://www.census.pro.gov.uk.

Naturally the first entries are of interest to the writer's family: they were selected on the basis of Lynn, Norfolk as being the place of birth. However, please feel free to let us know about any additional information that you may get from the census - or comment on relationships - and we will gladly add it here.
