George Harborow was a grandson of Thomas Harborow and hence a great-grandson of William Harborow, referred to as William III by researchers. One of William III's other children was Ann Harborow who married Thomas Inkson in 1801 and therefore the mother of George's wife, Sarah [below]. There is therefore a generation slip between George and Sarah even though they are of similar ages.

They lived in London and had eleven children but in [reportedly] 1895 they emigrated to Canada. John married Amelia Gore in 1874. They are reported to have had six children. After Amelia died he emigrated to New Zealand probably following one of the children. In New Zealand he married Mary Dickson in 1895. He is said to be the John Harborow who died in Timaru, south of Christchurch, in 1917.Born: Reg.
