Sarah Bird née Inkson b. 1780 Kings Lynn, Norfolk

Although Sarah was a popular name for the Inksons in the 1780's [in addition to this Sarah from Norfolk there was a Sarah Inkson also born in 1780 in Kent and another born in in 1783 in Dorset] it is most likely that it was this Sarah who married a Jacob Bird in St Margaret's, Kings Lynn in 1807.

Jacob is described as a widower on the marriage certificate but there are too many possibilities to work out to whom he was previously married or, indeed, where and when he was born.

No children have yet been found for Sarah and Jacob. What we do know, however, is that a Sarah, wife of Jacob Bird, was buried at St Margaret's on 20 Jul 1825 aged 45 which is an exact match for being born in 1780.
