Winnie Ethel Ford née Inkson b. reg. Q4 1877 Burnham Ulph, Norfolk
Winnie Ethel was the oldest child of Thomas Henry and Emma Bezants Inkson to survive to adulthood, so part of the 'Norwich Inksons' and a descendent of the 1801 Inkson - Harborow marriage through William and then Thomas Harborow Inkson. She was baptised in the church of Thorpe Episcopi [on the eastern edge of Norwich] on 5 Sep 1880 but the family address is given as North Heigham to the north of the city.
She married William George Ford, a railway clerk, on 5 Jun 1907 in St Philip's Heigham. There were no children as far as can be told.
What we do know is that they spent at least part of their working life overseas : they are recorded as arriving in Southampton on RMS Almanzora from Buenos Aires in 1928. He is described as a 'manager' on the manifest and they travelled in 1st class. We next see them in the 1939 England Register when they were living in Wallington, South London. He is described therein as an oil company manager.
Because there were no known children there is no family group page available.
