Dorothy Creasey née Inkson b. 26 Aug 1889 Norwich, Norfolk
Dorothy was a child of Thomas Henry and Emma Bezants Inkson, so part of the 'Norwich Inksons' and a descendent of the 1801 Inkson - Harborow marriage through William and then Thomas Harborow. She was baptised in St Philip's Heigham [Norwich] on 30 Mar 1890. The parish record gives her dat of birth as 20 Aug 1889 but her civil death record gives her birth as 26 Aug 1889 which is the date used here.
In the 1911 English census records, Dorothy and her older sister Nellie are noted as being in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk, running a small boarding house. There were three railway company clerks staying with them. A few months later Dorothy married Arthur Mortimer Creasey, one of the clerks, in the parish church of Great Yarmouth on 17 Oct 1911. It would seem that there was some urgency to the marriage : their daughter Dorothy Margery was born in the December.
Without the 1921 census - only available to the public in Q1 2022 - one has to jump to the 1939 general register. That shows that Arthur Mortimer has progressed : he is the Assistant District Superintendent on the railway in Doncaster. It is at this point that we found a second daughter, Muriel B. By back-tracking we were able to find her birth and death records.
