Alfred Inkson b. reg. Q1 1882 Norwich, Norfolk

Alfred was a child of Thomas Henry and Emma Bezants Inkson, so part of the 'Norwich Inksons' and a descendent of the 1801 Inkson - Harborow marriage through William and then Thomas Harborow Inkson. We have the civil registration details of his birth but no baptism record has been found for him.

He married Ida Laura Howard very late [he was a 55 year old bachelor and she was a 46 year old spinster] on 24 Apr 1935 in St Barnabas' Heigham at which time he is described as a cab proprietor like his father. The couple had no children of course.

We next see them in the 1939 England Register when he is described as a lorry driver. The same record reveals their dates of birth.
