Neville Henry was one of a twin born to Henry William Helsdon and his wife Martha Harriett née Inkson, so a descendent of the 1801 Inkson - Harborow marriage through William and then Thomas Harborow Inkson. His baptism record gives his date of birth which is also available from the 1939 England Register. In that register he is described as a slaughterman with an address in Weybridge Surrey.
He married Ethel May Edwards on 31 Oct 1921 in the parish church of Brancaster, a village just 4km east of Thornham. At that time Neville Henry was a butcher like his father. They are known to have had one child, a daughter.
