Harry Thomas DAINTY b. 9 Jun 1898 Lewisham, London

Harry Thomas was one of a fraternal twin, the first born children of Harry Dainty and Lottie Garner née Inkson. When the Great War started both boys would have been just sixteen. Harry Thomas joined the navy - and survived. His twin brother, Stanley George, joined the army - and did not.

In 1924 Harry Thomas emigrated to the USA and settled in Rochester, NY. Rochester is on the south shore of Lake Ontario about 120km west of Niagara Falls.

In 1929, aged 31, he married a girl from Missouri : Helendore Marie Espey. Harry Thomas and Helendore seem to have had four children.
