Arthur Edward DAINTY b. 4 Aug 1901 St Marylebone, London

Arthur Edward was the third born child of Harry Dainty and Lottie Garner née Inkson. Like his sister ten years later, he just missed the census in the year of his birth.

He appears in the 1911 census data living at home and again in 1921, still living at the family home, 106 Finborough Road. He is said to be 19y 10m on the night of the census and is described as a cinematographer working for Pictos Ltd of Acton.

He married Marion Taylor in 1937 when he would have been 36 and she would have been about 31. The marriage was registered in Q2 of that year in Brentford registration district.

Two years later, at the time of the 1939 registration, Arthur Edward and Marion were living at 41 Eyot Gardens, Hammersmith, London. His occupation is said to be a wallpaper & paint stock keeper.

Arthur Edward died 10 Nov 1980. At the time the couple were living in Felpham, Bognor Regis, West Sussex. Marian died some four years later on 4 Aug 1984. It seems that she had moved from Felpham to Southbourne, Bournemouth, Hampshire [at that time] after Arthur Edward died.

It seems that the couple had two children. There is no family group page available.
