Albert Arthur DOSSETT junior b. 31 May 1890 Grimsby, Lincolnshire

Little is known about Albert Arthur junior in adulthood. He appears in the 1911 census, a 20 year old still living at home and working as a carter for Bakers [it is not clear whether that is working for a bakery or working for a company called Bakers]. It seems extremely unlikely that he avoided fighting in the Great War but there are no records yet found for military service.

He certainly survived because he married a Maud Murrell in Q2 1919. The only other record found is the General Register of 1939 which shows him living with Maud and Doris, presumably their daughter. He is described as a house painter, having followed in his father's footsteps.

We don't know what happened to Doris [unusually her 1939 record was not updated with a married name if she did marry but there is a possible marriage in Q1 1955 when a Doris Dossett married a James Bell in Cleethorpes, Lincolnshire]. That quarter coincides with the likely death of her mother, a Maud Dossett died then in Cleethorpes.
