There was at least one Inkson family in Kings Lynn, Norfolk at the end of the 18th century as five Inkson marriages are reported there by the IGI for the period from 1801 to 1806. They all took place in St Nicholas church and involved three Inkson men and two Inkson women. Were they all siblings or was there more than one Inkson family in the town at the time? As two of the men are recorded as Thomas there are probably at least two Inkson families in Kings Lynn at the time.
The first of the marriages was Thomas Inkson's marriage to Ann Harborow and we believe that Ann herself and at least four of the children appear - with their own families - in the 1851 census. Much of the work in this section is conjecture though and should be taken with care. Can you help in any way? We would love to hear from you.
